The Smart2Save helper watches for subscription checkout pages. Right before you enter your card, it asks: "Is there a free app that does this?"

How to add it to Chrome

Works on computers with Chrome, Edge or Brave. Takes about 2 minutes. A family member can do this for you.

  1. 1Tap the green button below to download the helper.
  2. 2Find the downloaded file and open it (unzip it) to get a folder.
  3. 3In Chrome, type chrome://extensions in the address bar and press Enter.
  4. 4Turn on "Developer mode" (the switch in the top right corner).
  5. 5Click "Load unpacked" and choose the folder from step 2.

Your privacy

The helper never reads or saves your card number. It only notices that a payment box is on the page. Nothing is sent anywhere unless you tap "Check for free options."

Note: purchases made inside apps on an iPhone or Android phone happen outside the web browser, so the helper can't see those. For those, open Smart2Save and search first.
